Virtually every writer will say “I have wanted to be an author my entire life” and as stereotypical as it seems, it’s true. At least for me.
From the time I learned how to write, I was writing stories, and when I wasn’t putting words on paper, I was creating stories in my head. The ability to dream up characters and worlds that seem impossible has always been irresistible to me.

On top of being a life-long writer, I have been a ravenous reader. That isn’t an exaggeration. I spent all of my youth in libraries devouring every book within reach. One of the highlights of my adulthood was when I moved into my first apartment and turned my second bedroom into a home-library-slash-office.
Throughout my life, books have always been a source of comfort and escape, and I think that feeling plays a huge role in my desire to be a writer; I want to be the comfort and escape for someone like other authors have been for me.
